Guide to make your modelviewer work with 3.0.2!

Hi, I posted this on the WeGame forums:

When the new patch 3.0.2 came out last week, it featured a lot of new models, and new kinds of files to store the models. This means, that WoW Modelviewer doesn't work anymore, and crashes whenever you select something!This is not the Modelviewer forums, but I still have a solution to the problem, as there's been a lot of topics here about it not working.

I cannot get it to work with patch 3.0.2, but I will show you how to get it down to patch 2.4.3 and still be able to play patch 3.0.2.First, go find your World of Warcraft program folder. This is usually under Computer>C:>Programs (If the path is not correct, then feel free to tell me the real english names of the path, as my windows is in danish.) Rename the folder into something else. For example "WoW". Now, your 3.0.2 version will be in this folder, and you'll be able to run the new version from this folder.

Now, install World of Warcraft again or get it from a friend using an external harddrive, as long as he doesn't have 3.0.2. If you choose to move it over via an external harddrive, then you should place the folder under "programs", where also the "WoW" folder is located. Now, patch this version up to 2.4.3 and not beyond! WoW modelviewer will load this version, as it is told to load from the World of Warcraft folder, and not the WoW folder, in which the buggy patch is.Congratulations! Your modelviewer works!If it doesn't then you've done something wrong, as it has worked for me and a lot others already! Enjoy! :)
